Product telemetry
When product telemetry is enabled for an environment, the app sends a small set of events to PostHog (EU Cloud):
- Page view: the page’s address without its query string or fragment.
- Account events: an account was created, someone signed in or signed out, or a sign-up or sign-in failed. A failure records only whether it was rejected, a server error or a network error.
- Errors: application errors, server errors and network failures, with the HTTP status and the API route where there is one.
Signed-in use is linked to an internal account identifier. These are never sent:
- your name or email address;
- anything typed into forms;
- request contents;
- query strings, fragments or referrers.
PostHog is set not to keep the client IP address.
The app does not store telemetry state in cookies or local storage. Page clicks, session recordings, heatmaps and surveys are not collected.
